A little note about pearls:

All of our pearl jewellery is carefully hand knotted on silk, fitted with sturdy gold vermeil findings.

When maintaining  pearls, please ensure to store them on their own as pearls scratch very easily. Try to keep them separate from other pieces of jewellery or anything that could be abrasive to them.

Ensure you avoid getting them wet as this will stretch the silk, making it weak. When the silk gets weak, there is a danger of it snapping.

If you wear your pearls regularly, it is advised to get them restrung once a year to ensure the silk is in good condition. A good indicator of this is looking to see if the pearls are moving around or secured between the knots. If the pearls are moving around it means the silk has stretched.

Most importantly, make sure you enjoy wearing your beautiful pearls and take them on all sorts of outings because the good news is, pearls thrive off natural body oils, it enhances their luster making them luxuriously shine.
